Top 5 Best Black Friday Sales for Essential Oil Lovers
Black Friday is one of the BEST times of the year to stock up on essential oils. So I went through the popular essential oil brands and found the ones with the Black Friday deals you can’t afford to miss.
Here are the 5 best.
20% OFF EVERYTHING — AND THE SALE IS ALREADY LIVE
Revive being my first pick was a no-brainer. Their 20% off discount isn’t just on their oils, but every single one of their products, which are all made with 100% pure essential oils. And while I was surfing their website, I even found some select kits for 30% off!
The best part is that Revive is already significantly more affordable than most of the premium essential oil brands I compared, so once the discount was applied, I felt like they were just shipping me free products.
But don’t worry, affordable doesn’t mean cheap ingredients.
Revive puts every lot through extensive quality testing, including GC/MS testing, and each oil goes through 20 different purity and quality tests before being sold. The reason they can price affordably is because they don’t adhere to the multi-level-marketing pricing structure that other big brands are known for — that means no 200% upcharge.
Take Lavender, for example.
A 10 mL bottle of REVIVE Lavender is normally around $9.
With 20% off, that drops to just $7.20.
And if you buy their larger 30 mL bottle, the Black Friday price works out to roughly $0.48 per mL.
Other brands are charging well over $2 per mL for the same scent at regular price, and that difference adds up FAST if you use oils regularly.
But my favorite part of their Black Friday sale might actually be the timing.
Revive started their Black Friday sale in October.
That means you don’t have to choose between stocking up on oils and spending time with your family on Thanksgiving.
If you already know which oils you use regularly, this is probably the easiest time of the year to stock up. And if you already completed an order and realize you forgot something? Just like Thanksgiving dinner, you can go back for seconds, thirds or even fourths.

Rocky Mountain Oils was probably the closest competitor to Revive for me.
First of all, I have to give them credit for quality. They take testing seriously, use independent GC/MS testing, and make batch-specific test results available online.
And their Black Friday sale last year was REALLY good.
They offered 30% off everything, which is technically a bigger discount than Revive’s 20%, which at first glance seems like RMO is the more cost-effective option.
But let’s look at their Lavender oil.
Rocky Mountain Oils charges around $21 for 15 mL. Even after taking 30% off, you’re still paying around $14.67, or roughly $0.98 per mL.
Revive’s Lavender comes out to just $0.72 per mL during their sale — or only $0.48 per mL if you grab their larger bottle.
So even though Rocky Mountain Oils technically offered the bigger discount, Revive was still more affordable after BOTH sales were applied.
If RMO were clearly offering a higher-quality oil, I could understand paying the difference. But both brands put a major emphasis on purity and extensive quality testing, so for me, the lower final price made the most sense.
And unlike Revive’s sale, RMO’s biggest Black Friday deals have historically been saved for much closer to Thanksgiving.
BOTTOM LINE: Good quality and a really good Black Friday sale, but when I did the actual math, Revive was the better deal.
doTerra is one of the most recognizable names in essential oils, and I actually used to be a big doTerra user.
The downside for me has always been the price.
Their Lavender, for example, is around $39 for 15 mL at regular retail pricing.
That’s a HUGE difference compared with Revive.
doTerra has run some genuinely good Black Friday promotions in the past, but they’re often structured as short BOGO events rather than a true sale.
That’s great if the exact oils you want happen to be paired together.
But if you’re trying to stock up on specific favorites that aren’t part of the BOGO? You’ll end up paying full price.
And their Black Friday BOGO last year lasted under a week… which doesn’t give you much time to decide what you need, see if it’s included, and figure out whether it’s worth it.
BOTTOM LINE: If the BOGO happens to include the oils you want, great! If not, I’d be looking at Revive.
Young Living is another huge name in essential oils, and they’ve built a really strong reputation around quality.
But just like doTerra, the price is what holds me back.
Their Lavender, for example, is around $36 for 15 mL at regular retail pricing.
So before any sale even starts, you’re already paying significantly more than you would with Revive.
Young Living has offered some pretty good Black Friday deals in the past, but the discounts are usually limited to select products rather than everything on the site.
That means you might find a great deal on one oil you want… while the next one on your list is still sitting at regular price.
Their Black Friday sale also tends to be pretty short, so you don’t have a ton of time to figure out what’s included and place your order.
BOTTOM LINE: There are definitely some good deals to be found, but if the oils you actually want aren’t included, I’d rather shop a sale where everything is discounted.
Melaleuca has a large range of wellness and household products, including its PURE essential oil line.
I’ve tried some of their oils and think there are definitely good products in the collection.
Where they lost me was the shopping experience.
Melaleuca’s pricing and membership structure isn’t nearly as simple as going onto a typical essential oil website and buying whatever bottle you want.
Their Black Friday offers also tend to focus more on specific products, starter packs and bundles rather than giving shoppers one simple discount across the entire site.
You can absolutely find some good savings.
But compared with a straightforward 20% off everything, I found myself having to work harder to figure out what was actually discounted and whether I was really getting a good deal.
BOTTOM LINE: Some worthwhile Black Friday specials, but the sale and shopping experience felt less straightforward than the other brands I compared.
